Therapy shaped around the things men actually struggle with.
Sessions are fifty minutes, weekly or fortnightly, at a regular time. We work out together what is underneath the thing you came in with.
The approach is psychosynthesis-informed. That means we take the practical problem seriously and also the questions about identity, meaning and purpose that tend to be sitting behind it. We work with what is there rather than forcing a solution.
Some people work with me for a few months. Others stay longer. The pace is yours.
Losing work can bring grief and shame and a flat sense of pointlessness, particularly when the career was carrying most of your identity. We work through what it has actually cost you, what the transition is asking, and how to rebuild from something other than panic.
Job Loss Redundancy Career ChangeIf you are lying awake wondering whether your skills still count, or you are worn out by the pace of it, or your relationship with your phone has become something you would rather not look at, therapy gives you somewhere to put that. Not to be talked out of it. To understand what it is telling you about what your work and your attention were for.
AI Anxiety Technology Burnout Mobile Technology Screen Overwhelm Digital OverwhelmMidlife crisis is an easy phrase to dismiss, but the experience underneath it is real. A growing awareness that the life you built does not quite fit any more. Psychosynthesis is well suited to this. It lets you honour what has been while making room for whatever is trying to arrive.
Midlife Transition Existential Questions Therapy for MenWhen your sense of self has been bound up with a role, any disruption feels like more than a job change. Redundancy, retirement, a sideways move. This work is about separating who you are from what you do, and finding something underneath that does not depend on a job title.
Work Identity Purpose PsychosynthesisYou do not need a specific issue to start. Anxiety, low mood, relationships, stress, grief, whatever you are carrying. Sometimes the useful thing is simply a room where you can think out loud and not be judged for it.
